It is a really ambitious game no doubt! But creates zero interest in me!\

Playing from the micro-org stage and proceeding further!

I felt bored while playing sims itself!!
 
Apparently it's out only in India and some other Asian countries. For once the firangs are having to buy their games from eBay India.

After the Creator Creator tomfoolery, I wonder what new sorts of phallic monstrosities people will come up with.
 
Spore Gets World's Tiniest Billboard, Requires Telescope To See

Go tiny or go home. That's the Spore marketing philosophy apparently, as the folks from EA have installed what is probably the world's daintiest billboard in San Francisco's Union Square. At just 14" by 6", the Spore billboard requires a telescope to see.

Fortunately, EA has installed said telescope and aimed it directly at the wee Spore advertisement, giving passersby a chance to enjoy some smartly conceived marketing. If you happen to be in the Bay Area, specifically Union Square, you have a brief opportunity to check it out. Everyone else can live vicariously through pics after the jump.

Waiting for this to release in India. Since its an EA game, Excel Interactive should be the publisher and it would be out soon. Meanwhile downloading an ahem version.

i expect 'official' reviews to praise this game as a landmark in gaming history... i also don't trust them.

check out the buzz on forums from normal people who are playing it, not those who are paid to say it's good. it's really not very good apparently.

IMO if the above possibility excites you, then you should get the game, else not.

I will probably be buying it, but in the end my sis will be the one addicted to it (same thing happened with "The Sims" :P )
 
from the looks of it, it seems a mix of sims and simcity :P

I hate sims but i love sim city(the only genre of gaming i actually like :P) Might as well buy this one. For those who have downloaded and played, how is the trade scenario like and how good is the world reflection of your actions. Case in point is the utter flop show with sim city societies. I hope its better in this one.
