Spotify is currently running a promotion where users can get a 3 month subscription to Premium for $0.99. The promo is limited to PSN account holders.
One can create a PSN account for free and then link their Spotify account to it. Do note, you must state your country as the one where Spotify is available while creating a PSN account. Payment can be made through PayPal of a credit card of the selected country.
I haven't tried it yet but from my previous experiences Amex credit cards have worked if transactions were limited to U.S. addresses.
