amazon has a SP 128GB NVMe for Rs 1028.Do you have any 128GB or even less nvme , I need it for R6C which would be running as router 24*7 just need to run openwrt and some dockers
SP is good , not the best but decent , reliabilty wise alsoI'm not sure about reliability of that drive as I want to run some docker containers off nvme
Pretty sure Gen 4 is backwards compatible with Gen 3, so you should be able to use Gen 4 drives just fine; only catch is that it'll be at Gen 3 speeds, which shouldn't be a problem for most people.Any Gen3 NVMe drive? My laptop does not support Gen4
Using the same SP drive but 256GB in a home server running 24x7 since the last one year. No issues whatsoever.I'm not sure about reliability of that drive as I want to run some docker containers off nvme
Well it depends on your luck of which combination of flash+controller (some are good, some are decent & some are bad & no way of knowing in advance) you are getting in that because that keep changing with times so not necessarily the same combination which someone bought a few months/year ago will also be available today. As always, the golden rule of keeping backup of real important data in more than 1 drive still applies.SP is good , not the best but decent , reliabilty wise also
The 850X has slightly lower endurance than the KC3000 (600TBW vs 800TBW for a 1TB drive), if that matters to you. Although it's highly unlikely you'll hit that limit. I'd get whatever is cheaper.Between WD Black 850X Vs. Kingston KC3000 which drive is better? Kingston is cheaper than WD and also little bit slower.
i'm using a gen 4 drive in my gen 3 mobo slot. it is backwards compatible.Any Gen3 NVMe drive? My laptop does not support Gen4
