My parents stay at a somewhat remote place in Kerala where the power supply is very bad; loads of fluctuations and low voltage causing the UPS(APC 650va) trip often causing the modem to go on an off etc. What can I use to avoid that; will getting an invertor or voltage stabilizer help. What should I get to remedy this problem and provide stable power to the PC.
Also need a vfm but decent PSU that will work for an onboard video mobo; low power requirement with the most taxing application being viewing hd rips and general use being just browsing.
PC config: Athlon 3600+, Nvidia M2nPV-mx mobo, 1gb ddr ram and 4 hdds ;No further upgrades..
