looking for something like this above. bit pricey. Hence looking for used ones.

^there are two solutions I have seen for elderly people, one is the worm type rail that can be attached to a stair case and the person can be seated on a chair and the chair moves up and down. Limitation of course is that if you have a longish landing you will need another rail on the other side. Also there is a compact elevator which is effectively 3ft x 3ft in which one person can be seated, can be attached in the stair case or maybe an atrium to achieve the desired results. However both these solutions require bespoke fitting and expert work. Which tend to be a little expensive, and not a one size fits all solution.
