Haven't seen any of the original series or animated series. Just the 2009 Movie. I liked it Pretty much. Was searching for its sequel and found that the game is under development and scheduled to be released in 2013.

It will fill the gap between the two movies 2009 and upcoming sequel.

The game looks a bit like Mass Effect and one of the reason i might give it a shot.
