it's an amazing rpg made by the masters, bioware. if you haven't played it, and you don't know the story, i truly envy you. back when i first played it in 2003, it had the best plot twist i had ever seen in a game. it's a bit dated now, and i don't know if they have modified this release for higher resolutions, but if you can stand slightly older games, you will love this. more so if you are a star wars fan, but that's not at all required.

don't think, just buy. one of the best rpgs ever.

Worth buying or too late now that L4D 2 is out? Are people still playing L4D 1?

nah ricky, it's not worth getting now. don't get me wrong, the game is definitely worth the price, but virtually all l4d players have moved on to l4d2 now. if you want to play left 4 dead, you should pick up the retail version of l4d2 for 699 bucks.

check shops like landmark, crossword or wherever you buy games. 300 is the price for the game now.

Ordered L4D2 online a couple of days ago. Awaiting delivery.

I often still PLAY L4D1, since i like the characters and versus mode is different.

BUt I obviously play L4D2 more now !

Mirrors edge has been available for 5$ for quite some time in retail here but not on steam.thats why I didnt buy it

Going to buy Mirrors edge, Riddick and monkey island today.
Got KOTOR and Batman the other day. My wallet is getting lighter day by day and the holiday sale is syet to come. Damn steam:@

You will get another chance. There will be another weeklong sale at the end of december. its called holiday sale. they have been doing that for 2 years now and during that time everything is on sale for a week not selected games.
