I've had enough. It's been a month since I have been able to log into steam, it keeps crashing on the logging in part.

Finally installed a fresh copy, only this time I get some STEAM critical error exe has stopped responding shit. Searched the net, no solution.

So I copied my friend's STEAM folder and pasted it, started working.

Now I try to log-in, and it SAYS

"using a different computer need verification"

It says it's sent a mail to my in.com email account.

It's been hours, no email.

WTF is this!!!!!
 
I am also facing the crashing on login problem . I thought it was due to my slow internet connection. I got the email and it crashed after entering the code.
 
Did you check your spam folder etc...the email really does come in instantly for me as well.

...sometimes it seems to get stuck but it responds after a while, something to do with their servers I guess as my net speed is fast enough,

Origin logs on instantly, but steam sometimes takes over a minute!!

It seems as though it has crashed, and gives the not responding msg. but just wait for it to finish, but this happpens to me only sometimes.
 
Steam stops responding sometimes while loggin in or launching the game , if you wait for around 5-10 minutes it normally ends up resolving the problem itself.

In between I am using Wiindows 7
 
Yea, even I effing hate the steam client with a passion. I like the platform as a whole and the amazing the sales they have, but seriously the client is a giant piece of shit.

The crashing/Not responding on login and just becoming 'Not responding' when I start or pause a download happens ALL the time. Nowadays, I have learnt to just leave it alone for sometime when this happens. Just browse reddit or something for sometime. It generally sorts itself out after 5-10 mins. It is still annoying as hell, but yea now I just live with it.

There are so many things in life to worry about, no point raising my BP over such stuff.

the mail comes 1 day late to my mailbox. basically its expired by the time i have it with me. what am i gonna do!!!

i want to play team fortress 2!!!!
