Still more Fps?

Since a last few years all we see are fps:no:. Is this all the industry has to offer. COD is getting worse. I don't want to offend the fans but c'mon seriously "8"th part:no::bangin: of the same thing. Battlefield is better in this view because they made great improvement in gameplay destructible environments and stuff .The indie developers are creating lot better games than the AAA companies-Minecraft,Prune:clap::clapping:... Not only these overall what do you think of current industry...

If you look around, then there are loads of quality non-fps games available, that too from renowned developers.

LA Noire is one such game which although has shooting but its not all about shooting.

Other such games are Heavy Rain, Mass Effect series (again not all about shooting), Witcher2, Demon's Souls, Batman Arkham series, Infamous series, Uncharted series (more of a cinematic shooter), Deus Ex series, Assassin's Creed series, and the list will go on.

Right now there are many COD wannabee games flooding the market but other games like Vanquish (one of the most underrated games), Crysis 2 have their own distinct gameplay which is highly refreshing.

The thing that ultimately matters is what you like to play and what gets your attention.

PS: I may have put a lot of console games in that list. Consoles may be holding the PC platform back in terms of graphics but NOT in terms of game quality.
