Strange error while installing OS and booting

ello Everyone,

I am going thru a terrible time with my desktop.

History: Due to some issue, by system HDD is dead . and I bought a new HDD, new motherboard , CPU and RAM.

trying to install XP. terrible prblem . I set the BIOS (new system), to boot from CD. It does all the copying of the initial system files, then it says "starting windows" .

But goes to a blue screen with the following error.

"A proble has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer"

It asks me to check Hard disk for any errors. Run check disk etc...

I tried removing both the HDD and same error it show. I wonder what is the root cause.

Will there be any virus attacking on the Bios itself?

the last line of the error: STOP: 0x000000007B

Any idea about this issue. I believe 99.99% there is no issue with my MB, CPU and RAM.

So where can be the issue?:23:

buddy, change the settings for HDD in BIOS to IDE mode.
Since the h/w are new, BIOS must be in AHCI mode, this works for latest Windows OS, like Windows 7 & 8.
