Hi friends,

I am using Windows XP and Windows 7 in Dual boot. I am having a strange problem that when i log on to My computer, either in Win7 or in XP the drives which i have named automatically changes e.g. the Data changes from C drive to G drive and so on.

Pls have a look at the print preview of it here:

Please tell me how to solve this problem and why is this problem occurring.

AFAIK this is not a problem
Win 7 always show the drive as C in which you installed the OS. Same is true with vista where as win xp shows the first partition as C and the other drive follows.
Can you post the Disk mgmt screenshot of XP & win 7.

^^ I can confirm that both the replies above are correct and answers your question. :)

Win7 always displays the partition on which it is installed as C: and that is why the change in two OS. In case you really want to modify, go to XP's disk management and change drive letter accordingly. To change drive letter for XP installed OS, you may probably need to go to Win7 disk management.

And yeah, its not a problem, it is this way only. So relax.
