PC Peripherals strange ram problem on my msi neo 2 platinum

I finally got my new rig....
the thing is i have the msi neo 2 platinum board..... the guy gave me 2* 512mb hynix ram sticks..... but when i install both of the rams together the comp starts freezing and restarting on its own......... Is there some particular way of installing the ram on this board..... cause when i install a single chip the pc works perfectly....

Install them in adjacent not alternate slots.

thats wat i did dude still it hangs.... havent tried alterante slots

Try a RAM replacement. If that doesn work then its a faulty Motherboard.
