Hello:
I have been having a rough time trying to stream HD videos on my PC...I am wondering if I have a powerful enough system??
This is my system,
Download bandwidth: 5.5 Mbps ADSL (Telus) (more like 2.5-3.5 on a good day)
Operating system Windows XP SP3
MB : Asus M3A78-EM
CPU : AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.71 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 5770 850 MHZ 1GB 4.85 GHZ GDDR5
2GB Ram
Browser: Firefox 3.5.5
Flash version: 10,0,32
Zone Alarm firewall
AVG virus software
I am connecting the A/V output via HDMI from the video card to my A/V receiver. The video is superb, but after 10 minutes I get an audio drop out, then dropouts that occur every few minutes. I have tried the videos without the firewall and the virus software, it makes no difference.
Any thoughts??
