Study Abroad for Mechanical Engineer

I have completed my B.E Mech this year with an average percentage (64% ) . Thinking of going abroad for M.Tech/M.S . Max amount that can be invested is around 7-9Lakh .

Any suggestions or guidelines which country to go ? How to apply ? anything related is highly appreciated.

Doing post grads in Germany is cheap, my friend also a Mech Engg was looking out for doing M.Tech/MS from Germany and the rough estimate came around 12L for two years...

Out of what i have learnt till now Germany and Canada are two cheap options for doing MS.

+1 to the above. Comeon...u can get a shot at doing an internship at BMW & the likes too man.

^ Mate, could you elaborate? I would really like to intern at an automobile/aircraft company, although from an electronics purview. I completed my B.Tech. this year in ECE, and I'm not really interested in the job I've gotten (which is software). I'd rather a hardware profile, esp. foreign internships in a company/uni.
