Stuttering sound in FEAR

I recently got FEAR and it works very nicely on my system with everything set to high. Although some times the sound starts stuttering and is scratchy..

What could be the problem ?
My system specs are:

Motherboard: ASUS A8N-E
Memory: Kingston 512MB

^^You need 1GB of RAM, else it stutters. 512MB ain't enuf.

oops i have 512 x 2 = 1 GB
