Successful OC on MSI-K9MM-V

no . its MSI board with vis chipset. i dont use clockgen or softwares. i just increased FSB in bios from 200 to 207. any other ways that i can OC to 2.6Ghz?

I assume you never paid attention to anything anyone said in your old thread and it appears that you still want to defy reason, so you're free to hit 2.6Ghz if you wish. Just ramp up the FSB in your BIOS to ~237Mhz and you should have your 2.6Ghz. If its not stable, dont say we didn't tell ya :)
 
lol that is not worthy of being called even minor oc :P

If you want to go 2.6Ghz, there is simple solution though.

Follow these steps.

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Remove the side pannel.

3. Remove the cpu and ram mounted on motherboard as well as every single cable / power connector and cards connected on motherboard.

4. Remover the motherboard from PC.

5. Go and put that motherboard in the middle of road and let it be shattered into pieces by vehicles.

6. Go out and buy new motherboard.

hehe.....but his agp card is the problem....so hell end up buying a k9mm again
 
hehe. AGP is my priority 1st.. but 8500GT for 6k means a bang for bux.. i wud have waited 4 sometime.. anyways nice advices for OC i may try it someday when i have to change it to PCIe soon.....

Henh? It is a via chipset.... wats wrong with you?
