Suddenly my pc got slow.

Just now my PC had shutdown suddenly and when i started it the xp loading page took like more than 1 min to get to welome screen.

And My PC is hell lot slow than before.

I dont know what actually happend.

Even i couldnt open browser or any app.

So i got into safe mode and posting this .

And also i tried to restore my PC to a check point but it failed.

"windows xp wdf01007",this was there in restore checkpoint but i dont remember that i did install that.
 
boot into safe mode then go to msconfig and select only anti-virus for the startup and try to boot into normal mode.
 
i didnt get it i can boot into winxp normally but it is too much slow.

K i did what u said now what's next?
 
go to start>run then then type msconfig and then go to starup and de-select all except the anti-virus that you are using.

btw which anti-virus are you using?
