Audio Suggest 2.1 or 5.1 speaker setup

Need to buy a good speaker setup.

budget 2.5k

idle will be 2.1 setup, bt if incase 5.1 is available at the same budget or a bit----stretch--- 3k.

Also, a 2.1 with remote or even upto 3.5k will be appreciated.

If you pick up any 5.1 for that price - Inspire T6060 or X540- included, they'll all suck when compared to the Altec VS4121.

i had the same dilemma about space but i chose atp3 as it is recommended by everyone. i m happy and satisfied :clap: :clap: :clap: FYI, u can enjoy good surround sound from 5.1 setup only when they are place accordingly and far from each other.

5.1 is not only affected by position but by sheer audio quality of the equipment itself.

None of the "budget" 5.1s are built like the VS4121 with their crisp highs, clear mid-range and tight bass. They compromise on one or the other aspect.

If you want, buy the VS4121 now, and add in a rear speaker set later with a budget 2.1 for around 1-1.2k.

What do you guys think of iball 5.1? It appears, these speakers are very cheap, as per MRP says it is for Rs. 3960/-. Although, I'm pretty sure, it shouldn't be more than Rs. 3200/- if purchased from a reputable shop.
