Hi, I'm looking for 2.5 inch with 3.0 USB enclosure for my laptop hard disk, soon I'm getting SSD so I have to replaced with my primary hard disk. I saw one similar product link but it needs power adapater which I don't want and lapi hard disk can run on the USB power right.
The one you have seen on Prime does not necessarily need a external power source. The specs say Bus Power / 5V, 2A in Power Supply. That means that it will work off the USB OR need a 5V 2Amp adapter. Better call up Prime and confirm it.
