Suggest me a low on power-energy efficient and fast microsd 2gb for my N82.

I have Kingston and Transcend in mind but for these features an try other brands too.

Also is the Nokia WH-701 Stereo Headset 3.5mm available in locals shops or do i need to be satisfied with NOKIA HS-45 AD-54??

2GB cards are fast becoming obsolete these days.

Moreover, the N82 supports MicroSD HC cards upto 16GB (I had tried 16GB on my N82 without any problems).

I suggest you opt for a Kingston/Transcend MicroSD HC Class 4 card of 4GB capacity.

You should get one for Rs.350/- to Rs.450/- max.

A 8GB card will cost around Rs.900/-

DO NOT opt for unbranded cards. Use them only if u get them free!!!

And yes, the WH-701 headset is available on ebay for around Rs.850/- to Rs.900/-

I recently bought an 8Gb Kingston Class 4 MicroSD for 800/-. Go for only Class 4 and above and 8Gb and above, you wont be disappointed.

I recently bought a sandisk 2GB msd card with a media card reader for Rs. 200 shipped from ebay (used discount cpn) It also works like a pen drive now.

Where did you get that price for 4GB. I have found 4GB cards selling for a minimum of Rs.500 I am in search of a microSD card myself for my 5233.

Can anyone guide me to a shop in Kolkata ?

ok nice replies there.

I will certainly opt for 4gb coz i feel 8gb will eat more battery as n82 is tend to eat lot of power. Its biggest con.

@nehaladsul how does your n82 perform with 16gb mmc? and power consumption?

if its good then i may go 8gb way.

n i feel kingston is the brand to go still how good is transcend?

Hi.... I don't use my N82 these days. It's been added to my closet of classic phones! Acc to me, it is the best phone Nokia ever produced! I currently use the Samsung Galaxy Spica & Moto Milestone.

Coming to the point, when I used the Transcend 16GB MicroSD card on my N82, I never noticed any drop in performance or increase in battery use. Please note that my card was never filled with more than 8-9GB of data.
U can safely opt for a 8GB Class 4 card. Take my word for it!
:hap2:
Also, it is really difficult to choose between Kingston & Transcend! Both have similar prices, lifetime warranties & similar quality. So, it really doesn't matter.
I personally prefer Transcend; no specific reason! :ohyeah:

P.S.: The N82 is a gr8 phone, if possible don't ever let it go!! :hap5:

Hi.....

Those are my dealer's prices here in Mumbai. But I think that ebay prices too should fall sumwhere in that range. :ohyeah:

Sorry, have no Idea bout Kolkata..... :hap5:

But if they are selling for Rs.500/-, why don't u bargain a bit & buy for around Rs.400/- to 450/-? People from Kolkata are supposedly very sweet..... they should agree to the price!!! :ohyeah:
