Video suggest 40" lcd tv + home theatre + dvd player - budget 1.2 lac

need a suggestion for 40" lcd tv , home theatre & dvd player to go with it

-lcd tv can be around 1 lac.. sharp/ sony/ samsung/ phlips/ hitachi/ panasonic
-home theatre thinking of the htib solutions by yamaha/ onkyo/ sony
-dvd player will probably be philips 5965 or 3166

Yogesh - 1L for the TV and only 20k for the HTIB/DVD player? Either up your budget or go for a 37" TV.

That said, the Samsung R81 40" is ~88K, the Philips PFL7422/98 is ~90K (both 40", Samsung is 720p native, Philips is 1080p native, doesn't make too much of a difference though..), and you can look into Philips, Sony and Yamaha HTIBs.
 
I got a combo ie Samsung HT-X250 HTIAB for Rs. 25 K and Samsung MoselBlaque full HD 40 inch for Rs. 1,08 K. The pair compliment each other. The anynet allows to use one remote for both. The HT plays all the divx and Xvid disks which I throw at it. The sound of HT for movies is good. 40 inch full HD at the price is bargain with whooping 15000:1 dynamic contrast.

what about sharp.. seems good & will full hd make a difference, what kind of dvd player will be reqd
