PC Peripherals Suggest a Config, budget 100 Gs

Well this friend of mine is sorta rich, so he's set up a budget of 1 lac rupees :clap: for his new rig, and for some reason , he's attracted to some "lenovo" crap
cuz it has some cool jog-dial:no: he's willing to add a gpu and pro'lly another
sata2, but i'm trying to convince him to go for a complete assembled PC, which'll be much better in terms of performance........so, concidering tht i manage to convince him, i'd like u guys to suggest a config that fits in that budget :) .
 
X1900XT, Dual Core 165/170, 2 GB of Samsung UCCC or Micron 5BD whichever is available, DFI NF4 Ultra D, BenQ 1650, Western Digital Raptor 36 GB x 2 in RAID 0 + 250/500GB Hitachi SATA + Antec NeoHE 500 watts + Antec P180 + X-fi platinum + Creative Gigaworks S750.

Sony 19" HS95p - 39k
Antec Superlanboy - 6k
DFI ultra-d - 8.5k
The Logitech Keyboard with the screen
Zalman CPU and GPU coolers (with leds)
CCFLs and other UV stuff

And the other boring stuff like cpu, ram etc......

LOL you forgot the display :P. All that alone would be close to 1.5lac

Everything is fine other than the case, PSU and the raptor. A 36GB system drive is enuf and maybe a 400GB storage drive. You need to add speakers to it as well! That PSU sucks too. Also you forgot the most important thing... the video card :P. Finally with a hot dualcore, raptor and video card, a roomier case is a necessity.

I do not know much apart from what i learnt here but if this guy is the LOADED, BRANDED pc types,
then i think he is better off with Asus A8NSLI premium or something like that than a DFi Ultra D in case he agrees to get an assembled Rig!!
But DFI Ultra D if there's someone to set up and fine tune it for him!!:cool2:
Is that guy gonna even bother about BIOS issues, pwm temps or other temps, etc...

Also a Plusview II instead of SLB for that cool window and monstrous Server look!!
Plus UV reactive cables/cable wrap and UV reactive fans,...!!
Or LED ones at least!!

SLB is good but with SLI i doubt that but Plusview is Huge and that makes it meaner lookin too!!

Better still, CM Stacker, still 10,500/- at Matrix i think, since i last enquired!!:ohyeah:

TP2 550 SLiready or equivalent Cooler Master, Real Power i think!!

Min 19" LCD, more for bragging rights!!
LCD i Dunno what, maybe Chaos and others can Recommend!!

Wireless k/b, mouse with loads of buttons and FX!!

Rest whatever the budget allows!!

But i dunno why but i think this guy is gonna get that Lenovo thing!!
Even i liked that Lenovo 3000 ad featuring Saif!!
It looks cool!!

I know someone who has a P4 630 with 1gb ram, 200GB HDD and blah, blah...
But needs his PC to look like its been done by Alienware!! :rofl:

According to him, Uber h/w is unnoticed coz no one actually is going to really understand its significance, but when someone looks at it, it should look like Its just gonna be shipped to NASA for some astro calculations they couldn't crack on their machines!!:rofl:

If he already has a PC to pull him through 6 months, ask him to save up another 50k and wait for Conroe ;)

If your pal can hang on to existing pc for a few months more, he will truly benefit from that!!:)
