suggest a few cool screensavers

There are something called OpenGL ss out there. Its a set with 6-7 different ss in it. Those are quite cool, as is Blurry (the mac one)
 
See if you can find the Flame Screen Saver..looks awesome..mind you there is a high risk of viruses when u download screensavers..so download only from reliable and trustworthy sites...

Dream Aquarium is quiet cool too. The fish animation is really fluid and lifelike and so are the light effects

HI can U plz tell me why do U need Screen saver.........

As per best of my knowledge screen savers are the things which lower down your system performance & have maximum chances of virus inbuilt......

please clarify if I am wrong....

You are correct.

Screen savers don't really serve a purpose anymore and they don't do anything other than eat up resources but some people like having them just because of the visual appeal.
