proccy. Intel Core i5 750 @11k

M/B. ASUS P55 @10k

Ram. Corsair 2GB DDR3 - 2.5k approx

GPU-ATI Radeon HD5850 -17k

Optical Drive- Sony DVDRW - 1.2k

PSU- Corsair VX450 @4k

Case-Coolermaster Elite334 -2.1k (not sure that 5850 will fit in..)

Monitor-Benq T2200HD@8k

Mouse+Keyboard-Logitech Combo - 0.7k

Total 56.5k.

I don't think it's that easy to get i5 within 45k.

if you buy a 4850 GPU then you can save around 9k. so total would be 47.5k

if you want lower resolution (however i won't suggest that) then you can buy a 19" monitor for 2k less. so total would be 45.5k.

& if you don't want to spend your penny any more than 45k then get a Gigabyte Superb 460W PSU for 2.2k.so Total goes to 43.7. YIPEE i've Done it :yahoo:

Proccy - Intel Core i5 750 - 11k

Mobo - Gigabyte P55 UD2 - 7k~

RAM - DDR3 2x2GB - 5k ~ (KMD)

GPU - GTX 260 C216 / 4870 1GB - 10k

Optical Drive - L.G. GH22NS30 SATA - 1.1k

PSU - Corsair VX450 - 4k

Case - CoolerMaster Gladiator 600 - 3.5k

Monitor - BenQ T2200HD - 8k

Mouse/Keyboard - Logitech Combo - 0.7k

Total - 50k, it exceed your budget by 5k but it's well worth it, balanced rig.

get naveen's present rig:cool2:(not the one he gave you but the one he is using)

instead of his psu and cabby

get corsair vx 450 and some cabby within 3k

i5 and i7 with in your budget = compromise on gpu:(
which is not recommended
(anyway is there any reason in preferring asus mobo and ati card:S)

Just heard that ATI Radeon is the best in GPU and ASUS in the mobo section.

dude best is decided based on

price vs perfomance

for a specified price range ati performs better than nvidia cards and vice versa
same is the situation with mobos

beside these things you have to check their availability and service/support in your region and decide which is best;)

Going in for an all AMD rig would save you cost and also give you a balanced system with no bottlenecks. As said above by someone, going for Intel would make you compromise on the GPU which ain’t good. Also, all AMD procs come with hardware assisted virtualization support for which you need to pay a premium on the Intel side. AMD is also an overclocker’s delight where it scales up very well indicating a good quality of materials used and it doesn’t cost you a bomb. Further it comes with an advantage of being compatible with both AM2+ & AM3 sockets giving you an option to choose between DDR2 & DDR3 RAMs and hence a wide range of MoBos. I’d suggest getting a 790FX which is the top end chipset from a good manufacturer for the premium features that they offer. And all this should definitely fit your budget too. Another info - My friend just bought the Cooler master Elite 335 cabinet with the PSU. It comes with a 400W PSU. That’s no surprise you’d say but guess what, it comes with a 20A rating on the 12V rail and this PSU is not available in retail separately. The ones available are 390W and 460W which don’t have this rating. It also comes with the PCI-E connector for the graphics card. All this for under 4k. It is a sweet deal.
