i want to buy a gaming keyboard,,,,i have logitech g15 ,,,so guys suggest a keyboard which will be an upgrade from my present keyboard,,,,,budget 4.5k
i am thinking of razer lycosa,,,sio guys plzz suggest
 
MS Sidewinder X6 or the Steelseries 7G Black if you like KBs with mechanical strokes. The latter is 140USD btw!
 
If you already have G15, then the next logical upgrade is wireless.

Dinovo Edge or Microsoft 8000(which comes with a relatively inferior mouse).

Ideal COMBO is Microsoft 8000 Backlit Wireless Keyboard with Razer Mamba. That's Gaming Nirvana.
 
Logitech G15 ~ 4.5k

Razer Lycosa ~ 4.5k

Razer Arctosa ~ 3k

Razer Tarantula ~ 5.5k

Saitek Eclipse 3 ~ 3.5k

Microsoft Sidewinder x6 ~ 3.8k

Overall I'd recommend a Razer Lycosa or Logitech G15

If you want something cheaper, you can go with Arctosa. It's the same as Lycosa but without Back light.

See u have 3 basic options Razers , Logitech & MS

Razers (please every one dont hit me) i 'personally' feel are like Bose. They were great once now many are better than them. Still they charge premium. I have seen friends Lycosa the backlight is great if u are looking from top when u look from angel it isnt that great. Moreover the Day light legibility by me is not upto mark.

G15 is awesome.... but make sure u have huge place for keyboard as its pretty long n Wide. it comes with the screen (which by me isnt a biggie) n all .... i personally would suggest if u getting g15 older version thats was lot smarter.

MS - that i am using. and its amazing it has macro keys. its red back light is very legible with control of both sound n backlite on top. plus the day light legibility is also good.

my suggestion take ur own call...

go and first read a couple of reviews..... then check out youtube for videoreviews........ good reviews+videos made me realize some drawbacks in others
 
An upgrade from a G15? Is there anything other than the superbly expensive G19 that can seriously be considered an upgrade from a G15?

In case I wasn't clear about my answer, I meant there's no upgrading from a G15 :P!

edit: Just thought I'd mention, I was planning to get a G19 myself, but after going thru all the hype about it's LCD, decided it's not worth it. The powered USB hub and the colour LCD are not worth the price difference from a G15. Does look cool, though :P!
 
umm there is one which i saw in my reviews

i dont know of being costliest but

$800 price tag, the "Optimus Maximus"

ya Mamba is 9-10k in India & 5.5k in USA
 
if u want a solid piece of heaven den you must go for razer tarantula .. nothing else.. jus brght razer battlelight and u will become night owl gamer.. its finish is soo metallic that u will easily fall in its love and the keys are so smooth that u cant imagine @ the price of 5.5k u cant get nything else betr dan this..
 
sidewinder x6 looks like a flawed product ,although i have used it for one day and bought 2nd hand from TE . i will RMA it soon , ms provides new ones as replacement . I am still happy on the purchase coz this KB feels like TVS GOLD which lasted for about 8-9 yrs (3 genr. of cpt) . The KB was the only thing i never upgraded.
