just cancelled my hsbc cc. their charges are high but service is good.

suggest a good cc - dont want of state owned banks like sbi, etc.

was searching through old posts but couldn't find a thread which was started abt last year or so i think.

would require one which i can use internationally to buy stuff from amazon, etc.

tried other sites but only came up with hsbc and icici and amex.
 
ICICI? I have my salary account with them and getting a CC was easy. The most positive aspect with ICICI being their net-banking facility, which's pretty much hassle-free.

Yeah and they let you buy stuff from International sites. At least I did it through DealX, HK. :)
 
i have icici ac, but wondering abt the charges - they charge 45% pa for late payments i think while others charge 35-38%.

if icici then which card - gold, silver?

Very reasonable charges, which get waived off of u pay ur bills on time and have a good amount of usage.

Ofc the goodies are 'icici'ng on the cake :P
 
Citi or Kotak.. I'm using both regularly and both are good.

Citi's service is way too good and so the Kotak's cashback card - flat 10% for dining & movies.
 
Any specific reason for not wanting SBI cards..? In my personal experience, SBI has been the best, although ICICI has also been good.
 
I have got a citibank credit card, interest rates are high 40% per annum.
I am gonna close this card and get a citibank select premium cards which has got a opening fee of 4000/- and 4000/- per annum every year.....but the good thing is the interest rate which is 28% per annum and 0% fuel surcharge.

Same here HDFC GOld Mastercard, brilliant, have used it with Amazon, Shopto, PA, etc, and they have great service as well. I would definitely recommend it.
