Suggest a good Earphones

Hi pals

I'm looking for earphones around Rs 1k. can strech upto 1.2k. I'll be hooking it with SE W200i phone.

looking for one with excellent High's, mids and lows..and bass aswell.

Heard about SoundMagic PL30 and PL11, which one sound best?

RE2's are out of my budget..

How good is Sony EX Series to SoundMagics..

i think metalspree/faheem/bf1983 should write a guide for different budgets. this questions keeps getting asked all the time..

Will PL30 benefit from MegaBass feature of W200i?
PL11 are within my budget but dont know how well these perform against PL30.
 
I personally found PL-30 to be really nice with rock, classic rock music, basically any music which does not have a lot of emphasis on bass. Since I listen to a lot of trance, PL-30 is not a choice for me. Infact for trance I prefer Creative ep630 over PL-30 as well as ep830. I havent tried PL-11 hence cant comment.
 
^ hmm.. i too listen Trance and movie soundtracks ,so have to ditch PL30.

Could anyone comment on PL11? i believe there are many PL11 owners here..
 
^^ Too expensive at 1800. His best bet is the PL-11. I have not heard them personally but from reviews they seem to have good bass.
 
I would say at the prices of OEM you cant go wrong with Ep-630 for trance, in case if you want clear rich music on something like Pink Floyd flacs (:)) invest later in the cheaper Head direct ones...

Completely agreed. EP-630 is just great with Pink Floyd's. However, like my friends put it 'Dhinchak sunna hai' to PL-30 is your best option in your budget :)
 
I would prefer PL-11 over EP-630 and day . :P EP-630 is good for the price..but the bass kinds overpowers the mids and higher details,soundstage etc is just not there. so with EP-630 you get lots of bass and decent sound.

If you have considered PL-30, i guess you can afford the PL-12 or PL-20 as well.. Ive heard BF1983's PL-12 and they sound amazing for the price .The bass is there as well .

Also Mp4 Nation's giving free Fiio E3 with the PL-20 for total 16.58$. It's a good deal IMO. only thing is with mp4nation you might have to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery with free worldwide shipping option. :)

Exactly, have used cousins EP630 and felt the same..

^ nice deal but i don't have credit card/paypal so can't buy online..

I prefer to listen songs with tight bass (not heavy).. if any earphone lacks bass i can enhance it with MegaBass feature in my W200 and most important for me is mids, highs and treble..

Mediahome is selling PL20 @ 800.. is it worth over PL11 @ 500.?

Ya that's true. EP's have more bass but I like it that way so I prefer EP-630 :)
