Well, I can share my experience.
I've personally used 3 groomers. Mainly for trimming pubic hair.
1. Gillette Fusion Proglide - [

2. Philips BG1025/15 - [

3. Philips BG3005/15 - [

Of the three, the Gillette was the best in terms of efficiency? Didn't have to run more than 2 passes to get most of the stuff removed. Usually got done in one pass. Nothing got pulled etc. But the problem was
a. It clogged up fasts so it kept having to be opened to cleaned of stray hair.
b. The QC on this is pretty bad. I've had one die randomly every 9 months to a year.
c. Only uses batteries. [Could be considered a pro if you don't like rechargeable stuff.
Of the two phillips, I'd opt for the cheaper BG1025. It was safe. No nicks or tugs. Rechargeable battery, Only con is it really takes multiple passes to get a portion cleaned. Like a minimum of 5-6 passes for me.
Surprisingly, I picked up the BG3005 thinking it would be better, but I've found it's more inconvenient. Unlike the BG1025, I've found it constantly tugging on the hair rather than trimming it. Also, it took 8 hours of charge for 1 hour of run time which is pathetic.
The body groomers are not meant for being used on your beard. So if you want an all in one solution the Gillette is your best bed. [Provided you're okay with taking a gamble on the QC as it may die in under a year] Or else, just get a BG1025 for body grooming + a beard trimmer of your choice
