Hi Guys,

Looking for suggestions - wireless keyboard & mouse: Budget max upto 2K - URGENT

This is my new RIG
i7-3770K
16GB Ripjaws Z 1866MHz
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H WB Wi-Fi
(above is with GC-WB300D PCIe based Bluetooth 4.0 and IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity card)
Corsair Vertex 4 SSD - 120GB
Seagate 1TB + 2TB Green
Noctua NH-C14
Cooler Master Storm Stryker
Seasonic X760

Gaming: No GPU as yet & will be used for light or moderate gaming by my daughter & if I can figure out NFS for myself ....lol

Just some noob querries along the way
1. Would I have to use the accompanied usb dongle to link/pair the mouse & keyboard to my system? ........ thus blocking two usb ports
or
2. Would I be able to link it directly to the Gigabyte Wi-Fi card that I already have?

Kindly give me links/pricing also

Are these OK - Logitech Wireless Desktop MK260 | Microsoft wireless optical desktop 700
or there are better ones out there

Thanks ........... ALPHA17 etc looking for some quick solns

You will need the dongle Sire, these do not work on Wi-Fi they have their own wireless protocol. Use it on front USB 2.0 panel.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!
