Need a Suggestion in Finalizing lappy.
Budget : till 60 - 80k
Company Pref. : Dell
1) Not a Hardcore gamer, bt i do play few games lyk COD4,BF3 when time permits. So want d lappy to support Most if nt all Games. :-/ Dnt have mch idea abt gfx crds so suggest accordingly.
2) Need a Good Display with Decent Reso.
Am intrested in Getting the XPS series Lappy and since XPS 15 in India is kinda outdated (2nd Gen procy's) , am Tryng to Get the New XPS 15 Lappy (3rd Gen) from US. Got a Relative who's comng back after a month. If u have any other suggestions they are welcome but plz stick to dell as i m comfortable with it.
Lappy's in consideration :
1. New XPS 15 Series. Config: Screenshot by Lightshot (69k)
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3210M processor (3M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz)
Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Silver Anodized Aluminum and 15.6" FHD 1080p Truelife WLED Display and Skype-Certified HD Webcam
6GB3 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
500GB 7200 HDD with 32GB mSATA
8X Slot Load CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M with 1GB GDDR5 VRAM
OR
2. New Inspiron 15R SE. Config: Screenshot by Lightshot (61k)
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM processor (6M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz)
Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit, English
15.6" Full High Definition (1080p) LED Display
8GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD + 32GB mSATA SSD w/Intel Smart Response
Blu-ray Disc (BD) Combo (Reads BD and Writes to DVD/CD)
AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 7730M 2GB
Though the inspiron has got a higher config that XPS here , but many people are advising me to get the XPS over Inspiron :23: What exactly Makes XPS Superior to Inspiron ? When the Inspiron has a better config why would the XPS perform better ? Even Dell has priced Inspiron series with a higher config less than XPS , why is it so ?
