Don't flame me guys, I've looked all over the forum and didn't find a thread that has a specific solution to my requirement.
Phew...I have a desktop for the regular needs, but am looking for a portable replacement for a short term away from home for a few months. OS would be Windows XP, so any Linux/DOS pre-installed would be better to cut costs. And yes, cost is most important since I am using my camera money to buy this

- Can play movies decently with good FPS and natural colors
- MATTE screen please!!!
- Processor should not be lagging for small jobs like remote desktop connections
- Price lessser the better, below 17000.
