Suggest a Notebook For around 30k for my brother!

1)What's your Budget?

30k-40k. Cheaper the better
But flexible.
2)What will be your primary usage for the notebook be?

-Web surfing
-Full HD videos in browser
-Some Gaming: AoE/AoM , PES 11(Should be able to handle the 2 future versions too ;)
-HDMI port for connection to Bravia
-Some programming (I think he uses Blue java or something)

What size and weight considerations do you have?

13.3 >14 >15
What ever satisfies my requirements but preferred is 13.3

Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest?ll)

Prefer Brands that have wide spread service centers
-that have cheaper spares(Have been burned by HP once)
May choose from :Lenevo,Dell,Acer,
Dont want : MSI , Asus ,Gigabyte etc

Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)

-Decent battery life will be a plus
-Should come with a Original Windows OS
- Touchpad Buttons should be discrete and soft/mushy type if (dont want the hard/clicky ones)
- Can I get 2 headphone (3.5mm ) jacks?
-DVD writer should be present
-Should have the option of extended warranty
- Should be future proof for the next 4 years
Basically I was encouraging him to get a Y560, so that I can swap my old cranky pavilion with him,But it is a 15.6 incher plus quite expensive,
so what do you guys suggest?

Lenovo IdeaPad Z Series Z570 (59304317) @ 37K (LENOVO has permanently discontinued Z-series Lineup so last remaining pieces are being sold here)

Lenovo E420 Edge Series @ 35.2K

HP Notebook G Series G41201TX Laptop With Dedicated Graphics @ 38.5K

Asus K Series K53SVSX520D Laptop @ 38.2K

Dell is overpriced IMHO, but if you can get a good deal compared to the lappys mentioned above then Get only INSPIRON R series and Vostro 3450/3550 . I have not mentioned more models from Sony because their warranty terms are not good, you may end up paying a lot more if something goes bad + prices have increased by 1K.

13.3" screen, original W7 HB, i3 2330M, 2GB RAM (add another 4GB for ~1.3k in the empty slot), 750GB HDD and 3 years warranty!( 1st year onsite and the remaining 2 are carry in)

This is the best bet in your budget i guess. Weighs only 2kgs (flipkart's page has a typo mentioned the 15" model's weight of 2.6kgs) Only downer is the relatively poor battery life of ~3 hours with wi-fi on. 82% rating in notebookcheck which is a pretty decent rating.

K I went through the above option:

The lenevo 13 incher above mentioned by DA:

- Comes with a single touchpad key and also according to reviews is quite shallow

Is there any option that also includes

>discrete graphics

>14 inchers and slim 15 inchers can also be considered...
