I am currently looking for a decent phone for my parents in the price range of 15k-20k.
I liked the Lava Agni 3. But looking for good recommendations.

How old they are?
If not well versed with latest technology, better give them SAMSUNG with knox security and yes be careful about handset weight, most probably light weight, 180 gram or below preferable.
Lava Agni 3 as per YouTube review is very good but 215 gram weight, I doubt aged parents can handle that much weight even with 2 hands as maximum old age person have shaky hand, low grip health issue.

In my experience, getting a higher tier phone pre-owned (if they don't have a stigma against it) works well for parents. You're likely to get better durability in case they mishandle it, more longevity thanks to better hardware, and decent service support. The service in particular can save you headaches if they rely on you to get it fixed when there are issues. :)

The Samsung A34/54 usually come within your price range pre-owned, as do some of the Moto models from the last couple of years.

Don't just see the specs but also see their reviews like moto has screen issues and poco has motherboard issues.
Month back I bought cmf nothing 1 for my father, it is perfect zero bloatware simple straight forward.

I would suggest going for realme Narzo turbo 70. I just bought it for my mother after exchanging her samsung with it. I think this is a good phone in this budget. Go for 8gb variant, the camera quality is good and the ui is smooth.

I bought the redmi 12 5G for my gramps about 6 months ago. It costed me around 12k ish for the 6 gb ram and 128 gigs storage variant I think? It's a decent phone, however, its hard to use it when out in the sun cuz it's brightness isn't that great tbh...
