Suggest a Vacuum Cleaner please

I received the Eureka Forbes Deluxe Plus vacuum cleaner today, and after using it for couple of hours I hate this thing with my guts. Alright it's cheap, but it should at least provide an extra pipe, damn thing won't reach the ceiling! And the blower connector is crap, the hose keeps falling from it I won't be using it.......
So what to buy now? I wanna keep the budget very low, around 4-5 K max. I saw Panasonic website and I like all the three models they have there. A blower function is a must, connectors should be firm and there should be enough accessories so that it can reach the ceiling. Handheld isn't an issue. Kindly suggest something.

Eureka forces is total crap now. I also had one and the rubber rings around hose pipe dried out and became stiff in a year. Useless quality.

To utilise the blower function properly, buy a blower separately. Buy a branded one... they are quite cheap.

In my opinion, if you want to have a real vacuum cleaner then plan to spend upwards of Rs 8K.

Which one did you buy in the end? I am looking for a vacuum cleaner too, but I don't want to go for the cheap ones and regret later.
