Hey guys,
I am planning to buy a WiFi router, I have a tata broadband connection(Mumbai).
Also I want to buy a IEEE 802.11n standard WiFi. Please help me.
I have narrowed down my search to "Belkin Basic Wireless Router" is this good enough ? Please suggest others in the same range.
Thank you :)

Belkin Basic Wireless Router N150 has pathetic range compared to others in the same category. The Baffalo WCR Gn AP N150 for 1.2k is a good option and has better range and lower priced, and has 2 years warranty opposed to 1 for Belkin.

Asus RT N10 LX is also a good option for 1.4k and has good range and performance. All those are N150/draft n upto 150 mbps.

For higher transfer rates, go for a N300 device (if your usage involves not just internet, but file transfer/streaming/gaming as well) like the TPLink TL-WR841N to start with (@ 1.9k with warranty) or the Belkin Wireless N surf N300 (2.2k). There are many N300 choices for price range between 2~2.5k, but as it exceeds your budget, not going any further :)

I can exceed my range to 2.5K I guess. I play CS online but that will be on my wired PC, WiFi is mostly for normal internet use but I do need a WiFi N router. Please help me find one because I know nothing about routers.

I too want to buy a wifi router with support for bittorent and usb hard drive to replace the download rig
