i m using my HBH-DS970 since last October with my p990i and i tell u it is one awesome stereo bluetooth. i commute a lot on bike so it just perfectly sits inside my helmet. i bought it for 5K. it should be arond 3-3.5 K right now .

there are newer version DS980 , DS200 , DS220 ( u can use your ep-630 with 200 and 220 ) .

Motorola S9... I tried them ... they are stupid and really ugly. Just that Abhishek grooved with it, does not make it any better.

Ahh I would love to have that HBH-DS220, any GO around for same ? Please?

got them from musafir khana... dont remember the shop name..

see if u know any reliable guy out there..

Even Heera Panna is a good option !

most people wont even notice the difference.. is it worth waiting for like 5-6 months?

I should have read the thread properly :)

In terms of using them for a phone.... no you probably won't hear any difference... but if you really want to hear good mp3 music, then YES you will absolutely hear the difference... a really big difference compared to wired.....

I currently own a pair of 590A from Plantronics .. and the sound is really quite good for Bluetooth. I have had them for about 2 years and they have held up very well. They will set you back about $150.00 US

I have been looking for a replacement, and although many companies are starting to make them, there are not many that offer good stereo sound.... case in point stay away from the Motorola one's they suck.

The best sound quality and bang for the buck combination at the moment is definitely the Iogear GBMH221 which offers SRS

about $50.00 at Amazon here

What I like about a couple of these, is that you can attach any 3.5 headphones to the bluetooth dongle jack.

here are a list of others I have narrowed it down to for myself......

Lubix Stereo Headset

review at a2dp.info - link to Amazon cost around $55.00

Lubix home page

8Bananas Bluetooth® SRS Audio Dongle + Stereo Headset

These will run you around $75.00, you can get them here

iLuv - i202 Stereo Ear Clips

Cost around $69.00 at Amazon

Home Page here with link to product

wiRevo has a few of choices ranging in the $60.00 range here

What I like about a couple of these, is that you can attach any 3.5 headphones to the bluetooth dongle jack.

Not quite out on the Market yet is the Plantronics Voyager 855 - here

SonicGear has the BLUE2 SR300 here

review here

These are hard to find.

And lastly for about a $130.00 you can get the Jaygear - Jaybird - here

My 2 cents... go with the Iogear or the 8Bananas, since you can use your own favorite headphones when you want to and still have Bluetooth.

If yopu want to check out some more reveiws (Ihave already checked them out extensively myself) or get some info, check the a2dp bluetooth info site here

^^ thanks man.. rapped.. my main usage is music though.. Rajshah told me that the S9s are available at Heera panna or musafir khana as low as 2K so i should check out there too..

The ones I suggested are mainly FOR music listening :) This was why it is so exciting to hear about the losless codec coming out next year. I am also getting a new mp3 player too, and have been agonizing over the choice ... I am teetering between the Cowon D2 and the Samsung Yp-p2. The Samsung has built in Bluetooth... so it is attractive since you wouldn't need an extra dongle for it. The sound quality is good... but it is damn expensive.. and not expandable... but a great 3" widescreen screen... aaaaaahh .....decisions decisions... :D

Bought Motorola S9 Stereo Bluetooth headphones.. 2007 is the best for electronics to me :P its with my uncle right now, will collect and if its good, ill post a review
