most people wont even notice the difference.. is it worth waiting for like 5-6 months?

In terms of using them for a phone.... no you probably won't hear any difference... but if you really want to hear good mp3 music, then YES you will absolutely hear the difference... a really big difference compared to wired.....
I currently own a pair of 590A from Plantronics .. and the sound is really quite good for Bluetooth. I have had them for about 2 years and they have held up very well. They will set you back about $150.00 US
I have been looking for a replacement, and although many companies are starting to make them, there are not many that offer good stereo sound.... case in point stay away from the Motorola one's they suck.
The best sound quality and bang for the buck combination at the moment is definitely the Iogear GBMH221 which offers SRS
about $50.00 at Amazon here
What I like about a couple of these, is that you can attach any 3.5 headphones to the bluetooth dongle jack.

My 2 cents... go with the Iogear or the 8Bananas, since you can use your own favorite headphones when you want to and still have Bluetooth.
