Suggest a Wireless Router with better range. Budget 2.5k

Hi! Guys. I have a wi-fi setup at home with D-Link DIR-300 and with it's performance, I was more than happy. The router lies in the last room of our house. The router had coverage in the whole house but due to construction of 2 new rooms in the front, the router's coverage is very limited in the new rooms and sometimes the laptop loses signal while surfing and creates problem. Please suggest me a new router which has a better range than DIR-300 and should be DD-WRT Compatible with USB port (so that i can plug in a pen drive and download directly). My budget is Rs. 2500. Thanx!
 
^^ I dont feel you need a router with external antenna as almost every current gen router doesn't have it. IMHO N300 router would be way better than a G router and should be enough per your requirement.Still you feel that it may not be enough go for dual band dual radio router. But this will increase your budget significantly.

Also your receiver should be compatible so that it can use the advantage of high speed of N router & especially the 5Ghz band.
 
If you use wifi only for internet then configure the router to broadcast only 802.11b mode. It will improve the range slightly.

IMHO, Asus WL-520GU has the best range in your budget.
