You will get great deals in dell and Acer in that prrice bracket.

May i know the reason behind avoiding them both?

and dont like present Vostro designs
ACER brand has bit poorer image in her mind

Dell inspiron 14 or inspiron 15 is your best bet.

You can easily get one in the 30-35k range and yes it comes with original Widows7.

Dell has partners in almost all tier-II and tier-III cities in India. So picking one up locally is not difficult.

Check the dell india website for the config and find retailer in your area. You will surely find one

If you want to go for an Acer laptop, the best choice would be the Acer 5738.

It has a great battery life(around 4 hours) and great keypad(according to Digit, the best after the keypad on the Apple notebooks).

In the range of 35k i think these are better.

Samsung R418(2 GB RAM, 320GB HDD)

Fast way would be to visit CROMA if you wanna purchase dell.

CROMA is official and most well known dell reseller IMO in India.

But I don't know if they offer best price.
