How's this : DEEPCOOL - DC Fan - ICE BLADE FAN

- - - Updated - - -

Both deepcool fans are available on ebay.

Please suggest : Which one will look good and which one will perform better ?

Chirag, do you know where I can get sickle flow? Local dealer here in Bangalore claimed there is no such thing. I ended up buying Scythe Kama Flow 2 from Prime, which might be somewhat better but more expensive too.

^^ Yeah! If the dealer does not have it, it does not exist. For Cooler Master's "2000RPM LED fans" I only trust these chaps to keep in in stock --
  • Golccha Inter Trade (for ~450/- a-piece for whichever colour, sometimes he has green =|)
  • Aashirwaad Computers (for ~450/- a-piece)
  • Ankit Infotech (depending on mood (and colour-choice), between ~450/- -->550/- a piece)
Online I found these pages --
Hope this helps. Cheers!

^^ Fan 1) will look and perform better.

But I have given the link of hardwire.in (fan section), see if you can source the Cooler Master SickleFlow (mentioned as Red LED / Green LED fan in the listings) from them.

This is confusing. Following the part number from COOLER MASTER R4-L2R-20CR-GP 120mm Red LED Case Fan - TheITWares, R4-L2R-20CR-GP, it leads to the silent fan. I heard silent fan doesn't move any air, so is truly silent :).

The legendary sickle flows are R4-C2R-20AC-GP as reviewed here 120 mm Fan Roundup, Part 2: 1350 RPM or Higher Rotation Speed. Page 4 - X-bit labs. Are they same as silent fans?

I didn't know xtra flow is the successor of sickle flow, thanks.

^^ Point 1) is perfectly valid, I think the 2) point is contentious because it can be an error on part of proprietor of The IT Wares (OR whoever maintains the website).

So best is go on hardwire.in and get the Cooler Master RED / Green LED fans (with smoked plastic body and not the transparent body).

Technically the Xtra-Flow displaces the Cooler Master Blade Master (non-LED fan) but because of its pricing trends it is often too expensive OR at times cannibalizing the sales of Sickle Flow and the Blade Master.

I confirmed with hardwire.in, and they say their fan is r4-l2r-20cg-gp. This is also the silent fan. If CoolerMaster has discontinued sickle flows (doesn't appear on their website any more), only old stock can help us. Or we can wait for good reviews of the Xtra-Flow fans and see if it lives up to the reputation of sickle flows.

That is sad to know. I will try to confirm. Cheers!
