i am planning to buy intel e7200 or intel e5200(depends on availability and price).....plzzz suggest me cheap, descent motherboard....i want only vga port (not interested in dvi port...also not interested in dual channel)......not much i am interested in onboard graphics also.since i am going to buy a ati hd4850 later.....bye....:)

^^ lot depends on your budget. Abit IP-35E around 5K and 8400GS below 2K is the best combo for you if you want to overclock. If no overclocking, then get a G31 mobo from Intel.

Well, a Asus P5N-MX or Abit/Palit N73v is your best bet.

A friend just bought that ASUS mobo ~1600 from NP,Delhi few days back. It runs pretty stable and is capable of moderate overclocking as well.

My Dear friend considering your budget Rs. 2.5 - 3 K is not bad. Asus is a well known brand. Asus has two model under its Nvidia 7050 + 610i chipset.

1) Asus P5N-MX = This board based on Nvidia 7050 + 610i chipset supports upto 1333 Mhz Intel CPU (1333 OC) and 800 Mhz (OC) RAM. Not in Dual Channel. PCIX16, PCIX1, 2PCI slots, 2DIMM, 4Sata, 1 IDE, I Floppy, 3 Audio out/in, VGA, LPT, only one Fan connector etc. etc. But doesnt support OVER CLOCKING.

2) Asus P5N72-AM - Has every thing mentioned above + Two Fan pinouts for front and rear + 6 Audio out/in, Specially made for Overcocking.

The Gigabyte board may be costlier by some .5k but EP31 DS3L is a very good mobo which allows one to go for minor OCing too....and its very stable....i am currently using and am a big fan of it....
