Man, 3 fridges in a house is very very bad for global warming. You will go to hell!!!

Get a front loader, please. IFB preferred.

Thanks for your input bro...

Actually it is for 3 family, 3 floors... At present, we live in a joint family system... Now built an house with 3 floors so that we don't get separated :)

well get the 50inch,but what will be ur viewing distance and what will u be watching,i assume ur viewing disntance is around 20feet or more if so it wont matter if u get a HD or a FHD screen, since u need 3 i think u can get a panasonic plasma since the 50inch versions are cheaper then their 50inch lcd counterparts.

well i would suggest get a whirlpool front loader even their lowest priced model has a better build quality then all IFB top models(except the 7kg model),and if u require a large a load then get the whirlpool SUD 701 itshas a 7kg capicity consumes very little water in its price range cost 25.5k street price.

well in the washing machine increase ur bugget slightly and get this Whirlpool India u can get it for 16k street price has a build quality exceding high priced IFB models priced at 28k.

in fridge the direct cool type consume less power and also cost cheaper there is a LG model that has a BEE 5 star rating, while whirpool direct cool model gets 4 star .

Just got one suggestion-----dump the dvd players and get a WD TV HD player.

Thanks 4 ur input bro :)... but if i get a Home Theatre System like DAV-DZ570 : DVD Home Theatre System : Home Theatre System : Sony India it comes with 5.1 speakers n others features... but in case of WD TV HD player, i should go for separate speakers as that in the sony Home Theatre System... which 1 is better????

wat would be the cost difference between 50" plasma FHD screen and 50" plasma HD screen??? which one is better for me???

^^ the price diff between a 50" hd ready and fhd would be massive.. so think about it! although at 50" it does make sense to buy full hd but not if your paying 50% or more of a premium.

2. For washing machines, screw ifb, whirlpool etc.. and get siemens. Trust me the women in your house would be much happier and its damn silent as well.

3. Fridge id advice LG, get one with a good star rating as its on 24x7.

4. Ac's if you can manage with window, advice would be Ogeneral since in split all good brands like ogeneral and diakin cost a bomb. ogeneral windows should cost about 25k for 1.5ton which is well worth it.

Else if you want split only consider LG and some people here have also had good experiences with voltas.

5. For the home theatre dont go the sony way.. even if you want to save money buy onkyo 5.1+ amps which is available for like 15 or 18k's and add a philips dvd and/or a wd player.

Hope that answers your queries!

well have u seen a whirpool front loading washing machine, well i have seen whirpool and siemens models priced upt to 30K and i can tell u although siemens is realy good still doesnt match whirpool models build quality and they are equaly silent, when i was in the lookout for a washing machine some few months back i researched a lot saw all the companies including siemens, ifb, whirlpool, samsung,LG and from what i found IFB washing machines had build quality lower then others and but the best was whirpool.i was almost set to buy the siemens until i saw the whirpool front loading models.

@navino87
u can urself check out the build quality and u will know what i am talking about.check out the discussion in previous threads. http://www.techenclave.com/consumer-electronics/washing-machine-help-30k-max-130415.html

and FHD plasma are very expensive a 50inch HD ready panasonic plasma cost close to a 1lakh where as a panasonic FHD 50inch will cost about 1.7lakh to 1.9lakh.
i believe samsung offers a cheaper FHD 50inch plasma for about 1.4lakh or less.so if u can afford a FHD plasma then u may go for it,however when u watch at close distance and when u watch normal SD content the picture wont be as good as a HD ready plasma.

as iam more conscious abt the cost, i think its better for me to stay with HD rather than paying 50% or more as a premium...

Is there a 46 " plasma available in market??? i checked the price of panasonic n samsung plasma in the following sites n i dont see any 46" models...

Cheap Panasonic plasma tv Products at lowest price in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore shipping

think i cant go with window ac.... as no provision has been made for it... If i go with split ac, then i should chose between ogeneral and diakin.... are they good??? which one is best among these???

well plasmas dont come in 46inch ,the sizes we get are 32,37,42,50inch...

well sony is ok in hometheatre but it wont be good as a onkyo or any othe audio specialist companies.well about theWD HD player well unless u have the video, pictures, music stored in a HDD u cannot view them,so u cant play DVDs,audio cd etc u will need a dvd player/console or a pc.
and yes u can add seperate surround speakers,u will need a A/v reciever for that.

well i am more then satisfied its very silent, efficient in water consumption, smart and i feel justified buying it after my time consuming search for the best washing machine under 30k.

Get a 42pv8 or pv80 panasonic plasma if you ask me, best bang for buck big screen tv's available these days.
Since you cant get windows forget ogeneral and diakin as both would be above 40k for 1.5ton split. fyi Diakin is the best. So consider lg and voltas again as they would cost 17-25k for 1.5ton split.

No to sony because their sound quality sucks! :P Getting the onkyo 5.1+amp available at all hypermarkets for about 17k's is a much better choice. Throw in a philips hdmi dvd player for 3k and in 20k's you have a respectable home theatre system.

Happy Home Building! :cool2:

sorry guys... since i was outta town, i couldn't keep in touch....

Regarding tv, my dad said no to 50" plasma :( ... since there are no 46" plasma in market, now my next option is 42" plasma.... Please suggest a good, stylish 42" plasma... Many suggest panasonic plasma... any specific reason 4 that??? wat abt other brands???

well 46inch plasma in india are rare atleast i havent seen one,but if u want a 42inch then u can get the panasonic TH-42PV8H,TH-42PV80H cost about 45 to 50k.if u dont mind waiting the panasonic X10 plasma models will be replacing the existing PV series of panasonic plasmas.

in 46inch FHD lcds a decent one like samsung series 5 will cost u about 80k,sony W series are better but are quite expensive.

what is the budget for your home theater excluding tv. do you want all three to be exactly the same?

well the panasonic have better contrast compared to the samsung plasma and as far as lg plasmas well i am pretty sure u can spot at first glance that its has the worst picture compared to the other plasma.
