Suggest leisure games for laptop usage during train travels

Hi Folks,
Can you please suggest me some time pass / leisure games to play in XPS 15 laptop (Nvidia GT 420M) during train tavels.
I am looking for games in the following categories and anything else that might be good. Prefer games that use keyboards so as to avoid the hassle of using a mouse or touch pad.

1. Puzzles
2. Platform games
3. Racing games
 
How long is the train ride? Will the train have a power connector?

If its a long ride with no power connector for charging then I guess you'd have to stick to flash games.

Yes the trains I travel have power connectors. The train ride is anywhere between 3hrs to 10 hrs.

Racing games that you ll enjoy : Burnout Paradise ( it was available for free download a few days ago ) , Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (enjoyable game) , F1 2010 ( this one is for the F1 fans , good game though)
Carry your charger , lappy plugged in should give better performance.

Braid and world of goo are awesome as well.
 
Doesn't PlantsVZombie need a mouse? The most common games for laptops are NFS and FIFA. You could also get beat 'em ups like Mortal Kombat or Tekken Tag Tournament. If you have a gamepad you can fire up Prince Of Persia, that should last the journey...
 
^^ Thanks folks for the suggestions. Don't like sports. About using the controller I have a PS3 Dual shock controller. Are there some clean windows drivers to use them effectively?
 
+1 to the Humble Indie bundle. I think the deal is over now though. Last week if you paid $7.60 you got both HIB 1 and 2
