Suggest me a nice Airtel Unlimited Plan for Downloading Purpouse

Hey guys I will be moving to Chennai for my job.

So I was thinking to grab one of Airtel Plan (Have heard a lot about its quality, but not to forget its suck ass Fair Usage Policy)

I am looking for a high speed plan, with uncapped download

(and if not pure uncapped atleast a 50 GB Range will be good enough)

I download a lot of stuffs through Internet so I really need a high speed connection as well descent d/l u/l limits.

I searched for Tariffs on their site and the only thing attracted me was this:-

But I was looking for something like 1 Mbps ones with my above condition applied.

Earlier while browsing the forum I went through this Plan name Freedom Plan etc etc, I dont remember the names exactly, but I remember they were like 1299 and 1699 plans, arent they still available??

Also once applied how much time they take for installation, how much they cost for modem per month (if they do), if I buy modem of my own will they cost for modem installation?

PS: If you guys know another ISP which provides similar quality and awesome plan, then go ahead and Suggest me

Unfortunately if you are looking for a new connection, you are out of luck in terms of the choice of plans. All high speed plans have a data cap of 15 GB, which is barely sufficient if you are a heavy user. You have two options:

1) Look for someone with an existing Airtel connection and is moving out.
2) Go for Reliance. Their service sucks, but their product is good in terms of consistent up time and speed.

Well I talked to Airtel Guys from chenna got their contact no from Internet,

and they were like they have this plan for Rs. 1799 4 Mbps with 50 GB Cap, but want something around 1100 to 1400, I heard they had 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps on that cost anyone knows about it !!

About grabbing older account, well I hardly know anyone in Chennai So not possible.

Try Other ISP's don't go for Airtel.
