If you're looking at ruggedness get the Voyager, if not stay away from it. Its insanely slow when copying multiple files and even a single file won't exceed over 7mb/s. Get the DataTraveller 120, its a lil bulky but has decent write speeds at 11~15 mbps and read speeds of 30 mb/s which most flash drives do these days.. if you've the budget, then the Voyager GT is ur best bet..

^+1

I've always found the regular corsair voyagers unacceptably slow. They look cool and all and are very hardy but every time you're transfering a large or multiple files you'll wonder why oh why did I get this.

Performance : - OCZ ATV Turbo --> Flash Voyager GT

Value : - Corasir Flash Voyager --> PNY Micro Attache (Better than HP SLim ,comes with 5yr warrany , Hpee one comes with 2 yr and is manufactured by PNY and imported by the same distributor.......the read and write speeds of hp slim is less than PNY).....generally slim drives are very slow but the performance of pny comes very close to the corsair flash voyager in write and is equal in reads

Ok I understand that Voyager is slow & Voyager GT is faster but there is no one in nehru place stocking these so they are out from my buying list.

Any online supplier or nehru place stockist for OCZ ATV turbo?

what is the price?

EDIT: just found that itdepot has a stock of these

It seems that the drive which supports ready boost are faster in read/write speeds, is it true?
I actually will be using this pen drive for transferring 1000s of files on a daily basis so indeed the speed will become quite slow hence I need a faster usb drive with higher read & write times.

yes. OCz atv turbo is very faster in read/write speeds. moreover u will like the bright yellow colour of it.. itdepot.com has it.

i got mine (ocz atv 16gb) thru a te member ganesh_2218 from delta pheripherals, chennai.

See if you can get buffalo pen drives, the 2gb model I have gives me 25 mbps write speeds, if I am not mistaken most pen drives dont even reach 20 mbps.

sandisk cruzer is a pretty good drive

i have a 16gb one and its rock solide and pretty fast

i removed the U3 junk after a month and its on NTFS format now

recommended

Transfer speed will always be slow when u have to transfer 1000s of file so in my case it will never reach its optimum speed.

sandisk cruzer is a pretty good drive
what is the read write speed you get if you are transferring 100 files, can u test that speed for me? I want to buy it tomorrow.
