Suggest me games from ps2.

Hi guys,
i m planning to buy some ps2 games (i know its dead but still i dont want to spend lavishly on ps3 games)

Games i like the most:
Black
Kill zone
That it ....

Games i hated the most:
Driver
hitman
max Paine
resident evil
god of war(graphic is good but after playing it for few min my fingers starts paining thanks to keystrokes/sec ratio)

Suggest me games which are similar to my likes.

You could try Medal of Honour series.

They are FPS that should keep you interested.

Burnout series is also good fun Revenge being the best (according to me)
 
Seen people playing Medal of Honour .But i would like to use modern weapons .

Heard lot about burn out revenge .It is all about plain racing like gran turismo .What makes it interesting?
 
I'd urge you to pick up Xbox / PS3 for you seem to like FPS more than button mashers.
shadow of the collosus is a great game ....though its actionadventure ....its not a vbutton masher like GOW ...great game pickit up immedieatly.

What about racing games ..burnout revenge is a must pick
...role playing games Pick up persona 4 see if you like it ...its a great RPG

its time for you to buy Xbox360 or PS3 i suppose .....stom living in the passed generatin ....come here in the present genration of gaming!

Ps2 has a huge game library.

if you like horror genre then there are also many games.
1.the clock tower series
2.fatal frame series
3.manhunt series
4.Haunting Ground
5.silent hill series.

dude dont get me wrong but your choices are a bit weird.
 
Burnout Revenge is not ordinary racing at all.

Its all about crashing into other people's cars and causing general mayhem, trust me when I say this, this is one of the most exhilarating games I've played.

Its fun to bash a rival into the wall, jump on top of rival and crush him, so many ways....
 
I agree with your view on GOW. I never completed more than a few initial stages in the game, 'coz my fingers started paining. :P I am a hardcore fan of Burnout Revenge though. That is a game not to be missed.
 
Im a super mario type guy. The only game i've ever played on PS2 was god of war 2. Yup, only one.

Awesome game actually. Never got passed a stage where im on a horse and someone keeps throwing balls at me.

takedown is way better,the best in the series

you should really give it another try

first time even i stopped playing as i though it is just another button smasher and a mindless game

but then one day i just though of giving it another shot.and it is one of the best game,the gameplay is awesome and very satisfying.and the story is the main incentive,whenever i play games i take it as to know the next part of the story i have to complete this level and that serves at the motivation to play more
 
Your choice will be a bit restricted if you have enjoyed only BLACK and Killzone. I'd suggest playing those other games you have mentioned with a bit of patience and you'll certainly enjoy them. God of War is Sony's dark horse for the Playstation 2 console. If you want to experience an epic journey with a powerful storyline, then this should be your first choice. If your fingers start paining, then I suggest playing in short sessions. If you still can't adapt, then don't force yourself. But do give it another shot.

Other games you could probably try would be (in no particular order):
Bully
Shadow of Rome
Shadow of the Colossus
Ratchet and Clank series
JAK & Daxter series
Devil May Cry I & III
Psi-Ops: Mindgate Conspiracy
Fahrenheit
Destroy all Humans!
Resident Evil 4
Silent Hill series
Manhunt
Suffering: Ties that Bind
Yakuza I & II
Metal Gears Solid series
ICO
You may not like some of them, as they sum up to be button mashers. But these are some of the must have titles for the Playstation 2, which should not be missed.

Seems like i will need to get burnout revenge.

I dont recollect the game where in there was a yellow car and i was smashing others with gun and rocket launcher (Yes by sitting in a car itself)?

In other stage of the game i was chasing other card with baloon on them.

Can u please help me with the game name.

I have found it very interesting not sure if it is available on ps2.

get burnout 3 takedown,its better and best in the series

Do try out Sly Cooper Series as well.
