^its not faulty. It's working fine. Unlike yours, both the routers conked off I am thinking the problem may be psychological as initially diagnosed.

So the problem with the v3 is one antenna instead of two meaning range is less than earlier models. A little.

otherwise its stable unlike what PM reported. he had a faulty product and it was not a firmware problem.

This is pretty awkward. iinm, @alekhkhanna has a v3 model, ordered last yr, and comes with the 2 x 5 dbi antennas.
What is the signal strength mentioned for the model you got?

I have v2 IIRC.
