Although most medical communities/discussion boards offer conclusive information, your best bet would be to get it checked by a specialist in that area, for complete assurance.

If it is serious, Leave no room for doubts on the nature of the problem.

Even if you post in such forums, timely, accurate responses can't be expected.
 
it is not so much serious and i discuss my problem many times with surgeon and our regular doctor and the advice given by them i think is not sufficient. This is because i thought of some medical forums.
 
viva1986 : expecting fitting accurate reply on forums is really difficult specially for one`s own health.

Now a days there is a drive in western countries to keep the communications between doctor and patient via phone / personal meeting only. rarely emails are excused.

Social media is going off the radar of doctors now a days as your and doctors privay can be at risk.

So i would advise you consult your doctor, ask hime specific questions, still not satisfied consult another senior in same specialization.

BTW I myself is a doctor, so if the need be you can put your query here will help you out. my specialization is ENT.
