Suggest new Elliptical trainer in Chennai

Hi Guyz ! I weigh 90 KGS and 6" feet high. Initially i was planning to buy a treadmill. But due to its high cost i could not afford one . So i settled on a Elliptical Trainer. So guyz please suggest me whether its a good decision to settle on elliptical trainer. And can i get a good one <10k ?

^FYI eliptical trainers are expensive than treadmills

and if u want to lose weigh that way by running , then i wud sugeest get a cycle and do cycling , i mena not the gym cycle but a normal hero jet cycle worth 2k and go cycling , it help to lose weight more than running IMO!!

and its also a good exercise for the knees as well whereas running can have adverse effect on the knees considering u weigh 90kgs and above :)
