Suggest PC for 35k

Friend dropped the idea of buying Laptop and wants to buy a pc in 35k excluding keyboard and mouse.

Looking for a Intel or AMD config.

Mainly going to be used for editing music and remixing music.

Also for casual gaming and surfing and watching HD stuff.

Also need 4GB DDR3 1600MHz ram and 20"+ lcd.

Suggest best 2.1 speakers also.

Which is best platform for music editing stuff ?? AMD or Intel ???

get the config Dark Angel suggested, its best for your needs..i3 is not that vfm as athlon II x4 635. moreover 4 cores will always help in multitasking. regarding mobo he has mentioned along with processor(H55M ECS)

He already has DVD writer. Also no need of graphics card. Onboard ATI HD 4250 will do.

Any suggestions on this config?
 
Pretty Good for a encoding and power rig.Not much on the gaming front though but I guess he wlll upgrade considering he got the CX-400:D
