CPU/Mobo Suggest Possible Upgrade

My current config is...
Monitor-19" lcd (samsung 931c)
KB- Basic Microsoft
Mouse- Microsoft
Graphic Card- PALIT HD 4850 512mb
CPU/Mobo- intel c2d e7200
Mobo - Topstar MCP73 (got as a replacement for galaxy mobo :@)
RAM- 1.5 gb 667 mhz
HDD- 500GB WD blue

Now i am thinking of shifting to DDR3 platform keeping cpu same.... Will I see significant difference? I am casual gamer and like to try new game titles.

Plss suggest me .... i looking for bang for buck

what are the available options for me in DDR3??
and if i want to sell my current ram and mobo how much can i expect? (I think both are out of warranty)

Nope... You wudn't see much difference... You would hardly get to see 1fps more in games... :)

What is your budget for the upgrade, also recommended route of action currently is wait for BullDozer to come out OR if you prefer Intel then go for Sandy-Bridge based RIG. But first specify your budget and if you're a casual gamer then what game titles would you like to play in the future and play currently.
